Jing Mai Green Tea
Organic, Fair Trade Certified
|
This organic, Fair Trade Certified green tea can only be made during brief periods twice a year, during the early spring and beginning of winter when cool mists shroud the high mountain peaks of the Jing Mai Mangjing region of China's southwestern Yunnan province. This tea is made from the 1300-year-old tea trees found there - some of the oldest living tea trees in the world. The people of these high mountain tea villages climb their ancient tea trees to harvest the new growth leaves and buds used to create this superior green tea. The long, twisted leaves and buds yield a pale, straw-colored infusion. The flavor and aroma are delicate and refreshing, with notes of melon, wildflowers and toasted nut. The finish is sweet, smooth and unique to the Jing Mai Mangjing ancient tea tree varietal.
Ingredients: organic Chinese green tea
