Shipping Policy
For the convenience of Arbor Teas customers, we are pleased to offer a variety of UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping services. With the exception of our Earth-Friendlier Parcel Post shipping option, all shipping rates are calculated in real-time based on your shipping address and the size of your order. Additionally, free local delivery is available within the City of Ann Arbor, MI.
Earth-Friendlier Shipping
For our greenest shoppers, we are happy to offer our Earth-Friendlier Parcel Post shipping option (via USPS) for all shipments within the lower 48 states. Although it generally extends delivery time by a week or so, eliminating air transportation makes it the greenest, most efficient shipping alternative available. And for a flat fee of $4.95, how can you go wrong?
Free Shipping Available
Free shipping is available for all orders over $50.00 in value, and for all local deliveries within the City of Ann Arbor. Aside from local deliveries, all free shipping will be done by USPS Priority Mail. In order to receive free shipping, you must enter the coupon code "SHIPFREE" during checkout and select Priority Mail as your shipping option. Free shipping is not valid with any other coupons or promotions that require a coupon code.
Shipping Timelines
Shipment and delivery days are Monday through Friday, with the exception of national holidays. Delivery speed depends upon the shipping carrier and service you elect during checkout. A summary of the shipping times provided by each carrier is provided below. To estimate the arrival date of your order, please allow 2-3 business days for order fulfillment prior to shipping.
• UPS Ground: 1-5 business days from day of shipment
• UPS 2nd Day Air: 2 business days from day of shipment
• FedEx Ground: 1-5 business days from day of shipment (for most U.S. locations)
• FedEx 2nd Day: 2 business days from day of shipment
• USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 days from day of shipment
• USPS Parcel Post: 5-12 days from day of shipment (excluding Alaska and Hawaii)
Free Delivery in the City of Ann Arbor, MI
Effective 6/22/09, deliveries within the City of Ann Arbor, MI, are made every Monday, unless otherwise noted here. Local delivery orders must be placed before 5:00 pm EST on Sunday to be delivered on Monday. Deliveries to business addresses will be made during business hours (i.e. by 5:00 pm), however residential deliveries may be made during the afternoon or evening. Please remember to select "Free Delivery in the City of Ann Arbor, MI" as your shipping option during checkout.
Miscellaneous Notes
Sorry, but shipments to P.O. Boxes must elect USPS shipping options. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to addresses outside of the US at this time.
