This simple tea storage tin has a screw-top lid design that seals tight to protect your tea from air, light and moisture. A great choice for traveling with tea or for kitchen storage. This tin measures 4.2 inches H and 3.4 inches D, and can comfortably store one of our regular-sized tea packages. One of our most popular loose tea storage containers. 

Please note: we've noticed that the lid to this tin is slightly sticky for its first few uses! Don't panic, it becomes more fluid after 2-3 openings.

  1. Not good for long term storage...

    Unlike the larger brother of these containers, these smaller ones do not have a rubber gasket and latching mechanism. In turn, they really don’t make great long term storage containers in my opinion. I personally use them to store tea for only 2-3 weeks at a time to use at work. Whenever I run out, I add another tea from home from one of my larger, long term storage containers.



  2. Good size & price but a little fussy

    I have 3 of these so far. They have easily accommodated my regular-sized purchases from Arbor Tea - black green and oolong. The lid can be a little fussy at times to put on but just jiggle a bit and it'll go. While there is no rubber seal/gasket it seems to provide a very tight fit that probably doesn't let much if any air in. Aside from the branding sticker on the outside it's all metal so you need not worry about plastics impacting the flavor of your leaves.



  3. More than just a tin

    I've started my little collection of these and its so easy to refil the tins coz they are labeled and durable; I can rely on the fact that nothing will spill and that the lid stays on strong. The bonus is that everything stays so fresh! I love Arbor Teas!
