This simple tea storage tin has a screw-top lid design that seals tight to protect your tea from air, light and moisture. A great choice for traveling with tea or for kitchen storage. This tin measures 4.2 inches H and 3.4 inches D, and can comfortably store one of our regular-sized tea packages. One of our most popular loose tea storage containers.
Please note: we've noticed that the lid to this tin is slightly sticky for its first few uses! Don't panic, it becomes more fluid after 2-3 openings.
Made in USA.

This tin is okay as far as the quality of the product construction for the money. The problem is that the lid is very difficult to put back on after use. A tea tin lid does not need to be complicated to use. Due to the trouble with the lid I cannot recommend this product.

I had to buy tea canisters after the (gratefully) compostable bags started to crack and spill tea leaves after a few uses. Fortunately, these canisters are a worthy investment. The lid screws on nicely, stays put and isn't hard to remove. I used my labelmaker to stick on the canisters for identifying which tea is which (I have an enormous collection).

This is a nifty little tea canister. The only thing that would make it better would be a rubber gasket to make it seal completely.

This container holds 4 oz. of black tea with room to spare. The lid goes on tightly and the tin is stylish enough to display. As long as I match up the threads on the lid, I haven't had any problems with it sticking. Love it!

While the lid did stick a little the first few times I opened and closed it, I haven't had any problem since then. It's the perfect fit for the 4 oz. of tea that I purchased. I like the its style as well.

Unlike the larger brother of these containers, these smaller ones do not have a rubber gasket and latching mechanism. In turn, they really don’t make great long term storage containers in my opinion. I personally use them to store tea for only 2-3 weeks at a time to use at work. Whenever I run out, I add another tea from home from one of my larger, long term storage containers.

I have 3 of these so far. They have easily accommodated my regular-sized purchases from Arbor Tea - black green and oolong. The lid can be a little fussy at times to put on but just jiggle a bit and it'll go. While there is no rubber seal/gasket it seems to provide a very tight fit that probably doesn't let much if any air in. Aside from the branding sticker on the outside it's all metal so you need not worry about plastics impacting the flavor of your leaves.

I've started my little collection of these and its so easy to refil the tins coz they are labeled and durable; I can rely on the fact that nothing will spill and that the lid stays on strong. The bonus is that everything stays so fresh! I love Arbor Teas!
