Delicious Chai Lattes

The chai latte has swept across the nation in recent years. Similar to a latte made with espresso, the chai latte combines frothy milk with a concentrated brew of tea.

For a traditional chai latte, use our Masala Chai Black Tea. For a caffeine-free version, try our Masala Chai Rooibos.

Follow this step by step guide to make an 8 oz chai latte at home.

Step One: Start by measuring two times the amount of loose leaf tea you would normally use for one cup of tea.  2x loose tea normally used for one cup tea

Step One: Start by measuring two times the amount of loose leaf tea you would normally use for one cup of tea.  Flip over the tea label on your Arbor Teas bag to find our suggested serving size for one cup of tea, then double it. For example, if we recommend one teaspoon of tea per cup, measure two teaspoons. For a stronger tea latte, triple the amount of tea.

Place the tea in a T-sac to make a do-it-yourself teabag or directly in an infuser, and then place the T-sac or infuser in your mug.
