New Earth Day Celebration

Posted by Arbor Teas on 22nd Apr 2021

Last year when we canceled our Earth Day Sale due to the COVID 19 pandemic and rescheduled it for the following year in 2021, we did not expect the pandemic to last this long. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing repercussions of the COVID 19 pandemic (including staffing restrictions and supply chain disruptions) we must cancel our Earth Day Sale again.

In fact, the events of the past year have caused us to reconsider our Earth Day Sale entirely. Instead of celebrating Earth Day with a sale we have decided to shift our focus to supporting Earth Day with a donation. We strongly feel this support is more in line with the original intention of Earth Day and our own focus on sustainability and dependable pricing.

Beginning Earth Day 2021, we are delighted to announce that we will donate 15% of all sales on April 22 to a nonprofit that supports the ideas proposed by peace activist John McConnell for the first Earth Day in 1970 - to honor the Earth and promote peace.

In 2021, we are proud to support the non-profit: EARTHDAY.ORG

EARTHDAY.ORG's mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. Growing out of the first Earth Day in 1970, is the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, working with more than 75,000 partners in over 190 countries to drive positive action for our planet.

Join the conversation! Do you know a nonprofit that supports or works toward one of the themes of Earth Day? If so, please submit an Earth Day related nonprofit for consideration next year! All nonprofits must be actively registered as a 501(c)3.

Dependable Pricing: We understand that drinking tea is an everyday routine for most of our customers and we price our products with this in mind. We work hard to make sure our products reflect a dependable price every day - for our customers, our producers and our company. As a result, our customers can purchase their favorite tea and herbs any day of the year without worrying about (or waiting for) the next coupon or sale.

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during these challenging times.
